How Trackable Doors Works — STR Compliance Setup Guide

Getting started with Trackable Doors takes about five minutes. Here's how it works:

1. Add your STR property — Enter your property address, city, and the platforms you list on (Airbnb, VRBO, or both).
2. Enter your permit details — Add your STR permit number and expiry date. Trackable Doors calculates your renewal window and schedules reminders automatically.
3. Connect your iCal — Paste your Airbnb or VRBO calendar URL. We start counting booked nights immediately against your city's night cap limit.
4. Set tax deadlines — Enter your HOT, TOT, or TDT filing schedule. We remind you 30 and 7 days before each deadline.
5. Run a safety inspection — Walk through the digital checklist on your phone, record pass/fail results, and attach photos for each item.
6. Generate a compliance report — Download a PDF showing your full compliance status at any time.
